Why Care? The Temptation to Indifference.
‘Acedia' —also known as ‘despondency’ or 'listless indifference' —has been called the spiritual disease of our time. It can bring us to lethargy, on the one hand, and meaningless frenetic activity, on the other. Our speakers explore what has drawn them away from indifference, taught them to care, and given meaning and shape to what they do.
